Yes-I-Do! Trouwreportage Pieter en Malu De Goorn. Wauwie! Toen ik zeven jaar geleden met Rebel Shots begon en ik een nieuwe camera had aangeschaft moest deze natuurlijk uitgetest worden. Laat dan net Malu met haar gouden keeltje op mijn pad komen die toen zong in een band. Een hele toffe fotoshoot had ik toen gemaakt tijdens een oefenavond met de band. Inmiddels zijn een paar jaar verstreken en Malu heeft inmiddels haar love-of-her-life gevonden in Pieter. Toen ik op hun trouwdag bij hen thuis kwam zag ik een tweetal foto’s van deze avond aan de muur in de hal hangen, echt onwijs leuk!

De hele dag verliep onwijs tof! Een superleuk en relaxed stel. De ochtend startte op twee verschillende locaties, die in de buurt van elkaar lagen. Ik kon dus mooi heen en weer pendelen met de videograaf. In beide woningen hing een uitermate relaxte sfeer. Toen de trouwkoets met twee mooie paarden voor de woning waar Pieter zich bevond halt hield, het toch echt gebeuren. Instappen en bruid Malu ophalen die zich inmiddels in haar mooie bruidsjurk was gehesen. Na een mooie first-look en een lekkere lunch hobbelde het bruidspaar in de bruidskoets richting Avenhorn voor een fotoshoot. Een flinke wind waaide over het water en echt warm was het ook niet die dag. In Garage Geel mochten wij even op temperatuur komen. Na de fotoshoot snelde ik naar café 70 Dolleburg in de Goorn, de trouwlocatie. Daar stonden de gasten al te wachten tot de koets zou komen met begeleiding. Na een mooie trouwceremonie en lieve woorden was het tijd voor een home-made trouwtaart en champagne. Na de toast konden de gasten aanschuiven aan een heerlijk diner met dierbare en hilarische speeches. Uitbuiken kon op de dansvloer waar de band That’s for U de sfeer er goed inhield. Dansen en feesten tot in de late uurtjes.

Yes-I-Do! Wedding photos Pieter and Malu De Goorn. Wow! When I started Rebel Shots photography seven years ago, I had purchased a new camera. And I had to test this camera. It just happened that Malu crossed my path with her golden throat. Boy she could sing! During a practice night with the band I’ve tested my camera. A few years have passed by and Malu met her love-of-her-life Pieter. When I came to their home on their wedding day I saw two pictures of this practice night on the wall in the hallway, really nice!

The whole wedding was so great! A super fun and relaxed couple. The morning started out at two different locations, which were near each other. So I could easily walk back and forth and visit the bride and groom together with the videographer.

In both houses the atmosphere was so laid-back. When the wedding carriage with two beautiful horses halted in front of the House where Pieter was, the time was there to pick up his bride. After the first-look and a nice lunch the wedding couple took place in the bridal carriage: direction Avenhorn for a photo shoot. A brisk wind was blowing over the water and it wasn’t really warm that day. In Garage Geel we were welcome to warm up. After the photo shoot I rushed to café70 in de Goorn, the wedding venue. The guests were  waiting outside for the carriage and the bride and groom.  After a beautiful wedding ceremony, the kiss and kind words it was time for a home-made wedding cake and champagne. After the toast, guests could help themselves to a delicious dinner with treasured and hilarious speeches. After dinner you could bulge out or hit the dance floor where the band That’s for U performed. Dance and party until the early hours of the morning.
